There are publications that indicate regions of potential methane hydrate stability in the northeast portion of Hudson Bay Figure 3 ; however, single-channel and multi-channel seismic data are too limited to conclude strong evidence for presence of gas hydrates. A tertiary objective of the study is to identify areas with mineral resource potential Appendix B. Many studies have reported the effects of pyrolysis conditions, including heating rate, final heat treatment temperature, time at final temperature and sweeping gas atmosphere on product yield and composition using both ground and core samples.
